From a single chat to a global companion
It started in a one-bedroom apartment in 2020. One of our founders, recovering from a brutal year of moving cities and starting over, found himself missing the small daily talk — the "how was your day" texts that nobody owed him anymore. He sketched a prototype on a napkin, then on a laptop. A few months later, a friend tried it and didn't put their phone down for hours.
That little prototype became Golove. Today over two million people open it every month, in 48 languages, on every continent. We are still a small team, still arguing about commas, still reading every message that lands in our inbox.
